What is Coaching
Coaching is unlike counselling, mentoring, consulting or therapy in that the coach provides no advice to the client.
It is a partnership between the coach and the client with the aim to design and implement specific, meaningful changes in the client's personal and professional life.
It is about helping the shift the client's perspective and consciousness to from a lower level to a higher and more empowered and confident level. Once the client can see things from this new and higher perspective, they now have the ability to see all the choices they have available to them.
The 4 Pillars of Coaching
Moving the client towards their desired future outcomes instead of focusing on the past and present dissatisfaction
Focuses on the holistic nature of the client, seeing how positive change can fit into their bigger picture of their life.
Trusting the client’s inner resources and skills, respecting their agenda and future outcomes. Coaching is an advice-free zone.
Pursues transformational change in specific, inspired steps that lead to fundamental shifts in attitude, behaviour and habit formation.
