Power of the subconscious mind and how to rewire it for your success

Many of don't realize how amazingly powerful our subconscious mind actually is.  It controls many of our daily " auto" functions such as walking, driving, riding a bike. When we learn how to do these things, we log our experiences and how to do it in our subconscious mind so that we don't have to learn how to do it over and over again.


In the same way, our subconscious mind logs all our experiences and unfortunately it doesn't decipher between good experiences and bad ones. It puts them all into one giant vault and draws from it everyday so that we can experience life without having to relearn everything.


The thing is, as we grow up and start to experience life, our subconscious starts to show up to tell us watch out, or maybe we shouldn't do something usually in the form of fear or limiting beliefs and most people listen to them. That little voice that appears telling you  "don't do it", "you are not ready," " you can't do it" etc.


99.99% of the time that little voice in your head, your fear voice is wrong.  It is trying to protect you from imminent danger like death.  It pops up because you are attempting to do something out of your wheelhouse, something that is new, uncomfortable, something that makes you uncomfortable, but it isn't going to kill you for taking a chance and doing it.


Until you realize that the voice you hear is not real, then you cannot be the best version of ourselves.


The good thing is, as soon as you acknowledge that, you can also start to change it and start to rewire the way your subconscious works, and be done with your limiting beliefs and fears.


So first off, you need a piece of paper and a pen/pencil/marker...something to write with.


Then I want you to write out each limiting belief that you have about yourself, and your circumstances.


You can use several different pieces of paper or you can use one paper to write them all out.


Here are some examples of what you are saying to yourself.

  • I am not good enough

  • I am not smart enough

  • I do not deserve this

  • I am not worthy

  • I don't know enough to do this

  • I don't have the skills to do this

  • I can't do this

Here are a few examples of fears you might be facing

  • what will people think?

  • I am scared of failing

  • I am scared I will upset people

  • I am scared of disappointing my family and friends

  • I am scared I don't have the skills

  • I have no clue where to start and I am scared I am going to go down the wrong path

I want you to write till you can write no more.


Once you have done that, I want you to then say farewell to these beliefs and fears.


You can do it a number of ways, however the one I found that is extremely powerful and works really well is this.


If you have written each one on a different sheet of paper then this will take you a bit longer but, what you want to do is read out loud your limiting belief or fear, then what you want to repeat this " I thank you and I release this limiting belief/ fear from my life as it no longer serves my highest good". Then you want to burn it. If you can't burn it then I want you to rip it up. You repeat this for each and everything that you wrote.


If you wrote it all on one sheet of paper then what you I want you to do is read each one of them out and then say at the end, "I thank you, and I release all of these limiting beliefs/ fears from my life as they no longer serve my highest good."


Now the fun starts! You are going to take a piece of paper and something to write with and I am going to get you to start writing positive things that are the opposite of what you just wrote.


Here are some examples:

  • so you originally wrote: I can't do this, now you will write, I can do this

  • I am not worth it, turns into I am worth it

  • I am not good enough, turns into I am more than enough

  • I am not worthy, turns into I am more than worthy

I want you to write as many amazingly positive things that negates all the negativity. I want you to really start to show yourself love through your words and start believing in yourself again.


Once you have completed doing so, then I wan you to place that new list where you can see it everyday and repeat those words everyday.


Another very powerful way of rewiring your subconscious is using its natural problem solving ability of your mind.


Most days we ask our selves questions like:

  • Why am I so broke?

  • Why can't I do this?

  • Why am I not able to find love?

What we do realize is that we are asking the wrong questions. We want to find a way to be rich, a way to do something a way to find love, but we are asking our minds to find the answers to what we aren't looking for instead of asking for what we are looking for.


You are probably wondering how in the world do you go about getting your mind to work for you. Well I have that answer!!


What you want to do is take piece of paper and a pen/pencil/marker and draw a line down the middle of the  paper. On the one side ,I want you to write out all of the negative questions you ask yourself.  Again, write till you cannot write anymore.

Once you are done,  I want you you to write on the other side of the line the opposite of what you are saying.


So for example:

  • Why am I so broke ---> Why am I so rich

  • Why can't I do this ---->  Why am I able to do this with such ease

  • Why am I not able to find love ---> Why is finding love so easy and fun for me?

So now that you have a few examples, go ahead and write out all the opposites to your question.


So the equation to writing out your new questions is this :( why + what you want) . You are creating what you want and putting it in the present moment.


Now that you have a few different ways to rewire your subconscious mind, go ahead and have some fun. Finish writing all those questions and find a method that works for you and use it.
